Owned and
Operated by Experienced Aviation Professionals
Jerry King, with his wide range of aviation
experience and never ending commitment to perfection and customer
satisfaction, is the founder and core of KING AEROSPACE. Prior to forming KING AEROSPACE
Inc., Mr. King was
President, Chief Executive Officer and part owner of Associated Air
Center. As a result of Mr. King's leadership, Associated Air
Center, grew from 80 employees to over 600. The Firm became
internationally recognized as the premier large jet aircraft
facility for maintenance and modification completions. Mr. King oversaw
the maintenance, avionics upgrades and modification of countless Gulfstreams, Challengers, Lears, and airline size aircraft.
Most of these projects required extensive engineering and FAA certifications,
including Supplemental Type Certificates (STC). Clients
included domestic and international airlines, corporations,
governments and wealthy individuals. Mr. King was involved in
numerous Head of State or Presidential air transport class aircraft
projects. In order to meet the requirements of the most
demanding clients,
several projects were performed at remote international sites.
Serving such a diverse group of clients, on an international basis,
provided Mr. King with the opportunity to develop the highest level
of customer and product support.
Past
Performance Serving the US Government
KING AEROSPACE (KAI) was formed by Jerry King-Echevarria in 1992
to support the United States Air Force on their E-9A (DHC-8) fleet of
aircraft. KAI provides engineering services, modifications, airframe, engine,
and avionics maintenance, and inspection support, on the highly sophisticated telemetry fleet of aircraft.
The Firm also provides comprehensive logistic services, mission
equipment operators, and operator certified training.
In addition to serving the E-9A
(DHC-8) Fleet,
KAI routinely provides ground base and airborne telemetry support
services to all military branches involved in weapons testing. These
services include: radar services, routine repairs, modifications through
full system design, engineering, fabrication, installation, training and
systems analysis. KAI frequently provides these services at
approximately 10 different remote sites across the United States.
Recognized Performance
KING AEROSPACE
Inc. was honored in 1999 and 2002
by being selected as the Regions Small Business Administrations Prime
Contractor of the Year for the Firm's performance on the E-9A (DHC-8) Program.
The E-9A (DHC-8) fleet routinely enjoys a 95% or higher mission capable rating.
Committed
to Supporting the US Government
KING
AEROSPACE Inc. is focused on supporting the United States military with
their unique needs. Military clients at KING AEROSPACE are not
treated as "fill in work" to be scheduled around corporate aircraft
projects. KAI's approach is to treat customers with the
attention and respect they deserve.
Our
Aviation Professionals Exceed All Standards
KING AEROSPACE
team members are passionate about the opportunity to set new
standards for the level of services provided by all defense
contractors. For KA team members, contract standards are the
minimum standards to be exceeded; it's about making a significant
difference! At KING AEROSPACE, being a defense contractor is
considered both an honor and blessing!
Security
KING AEROSPACE understands the importance of both domestic and
international security. All of the Firm's facilities are routinely
reviewed by various government and independent security
organizations. The Firm’s security systems and plans are overseen by
individuals with United States Federal Bureau of Investigation
experience. KING AEROSPACE has coordinated these plans with both
local and federal agencies to establish a secure working partnership
environment.
KING AEROSPACE facilities and personnel have the necessary security
clearances to support our law enforcement and military customers
with “special” projects. |
