KING AEROSPACE Inc. (KAI), realizing top quality in a “No Excuses” environment is not
an accident. KAI is an ISO 9000 driven organization that is
extremely process oriented. As a Firm that is involved in weapons testing,
saying “I’m sorry” for mistakes is not acceptable! KING AEROSPACE’s
approach to quality is redundant written processes that are continually
fine tuned.
KING
AEROSPACE Inc. provides all of its customers with the highest inspection
standards provided by any firm. KAI employs dedicated quality
assurance inspectors to oversee all aspects of the Firm’s operations. The
continual inspection process occurs throughout any project or mission. The
inspection process begins at concept and continues long after the
project or mission is completed. Discrepancies are tracked and
monitored to develop trend analyses. The KAI customer-designed Contractor
Logistics Support (CLS) database provides trend analysis by vendor, unit, part
or component.
Despite all the processes and procedures developed, the KAI
proactive employees fully understand that their individual roles impact
safety and quality long before a problem is noted.
Training Philosophy
At KING AEROSPACE Inc., working daily with leading-edge technology is
nothing new. The importance of formalized training in the rapidly and
continually changing research and development environment is a must.
Formal training is required for all personnel on all of the services
provided by KAI. The training is performed at all sites, and
customer representatives are welcome to attend at no charge. Off-site
training is provided by highly recognized professional aviation training
organizations at their various facilities.
Military Specific Training
Training on the many unique military processes and
procedures is strictly met and usually exceeded. Since KING AEROSPACE Inc. is
an ISO 9000 driven company, all procedures are formalized, and continually
monitored and revised to provide the highest level of service to the
Firm’s customers.
Continual Education Training Programs
As a matter of policy, KAI encourages all
Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) mechanics to receive the FAA Inspector Authorization
(IA). This annual training is provided by KING AEROSPACE Inc. at no charge to
employees.
KAI annually sends
personnel to numerous domestic and international seminars and trade shows
to keep abreast of the latest technology. Attendance at such events
supports the KING AEROSPACE never-ending approach to find and develop a
wider range and depth of vendors necessary to provide customers with the
best value of products and support.
Cross Training
It is the policy of KING AEROSPACE Inc. to cross
train the Firm’s employees so that a secondary source of knowledge and
experience is available. Cross training allows personnel to assist in areas requiring short-term
support while maintaining cost-effective operations. This practice ensures
a deployment workforce that is always sufficient for any situation that
may arise.
At KAI, formal training is just one more example of the
commitment to employees and customers that is necessary to provide the
highest level of safety, quality, efficiency and cost effectiveness.
